Well, it's been a pretty interesting time in Lemonland the last several months, and the fruits of our labor are starting to show!  It all started with the writing and recording of our first record, which is now done, and you can listen to the tracks right here at TheMeadowlarkLemons.com.  

We recorded the tracks at Kingsize Audio with John Abbey, and they came out sounding great.  His combination of a great room, great vintage gear, and tons of know-how got us the perfect tones.  We recorded all together at once to capture the live energy of our music, and it comes through on every track.  We then took the tracks over to Fran's studio and mixed there, with Fran Engineering, and Chris & John in the Producer chair.  It was a great time, and we could not be any happier with the results. 

We are very proud of it, and we hope you'll like it as much as we liked making it.  We are in the process of getting some physical product (yes, vinyl too!), and as soon as that is ready, we will let you know, especially if you sign up on our mailing list on the home page.  Stay tuned!

As a part of this process, we hired Alec Strickland to design a new logo, and using our guidelines, he delivered!  We love it, and the Icon, and that means merch will be coming your way soon….
